Following his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Ayub transitioned to Unilever, one of the largest multinational corporations, where he served as a Finance Director, leading various business units. His journey within Unilever culminated in his role as the Head of Internal Audit. In the year 2022, Ayub founded AV CPA Professional Corporation with a mission to provide top-notch accounting services at an affordable rate. Specializing in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), Ayub has played a pivotal role in offering strategic financial counsel and nurturing the growth of numerous businesses across diverse industries. Umair Ayub, CPA, ADIT, GDip, brings over 8 years of extensive experience in accounting, finance, and tax. As a founding member and Managing Director of AV CPA Professional Corporation, he is instrumental in delivering comprehensive support to businesses across various industries, addressing their unique accounting, tax, and financial needs. Umair’s expertise covers a wide range of areas, including corporate tax, GST/HST, business finance, and accounting, which he developed while working at leading firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in both their Dubai and Canadian offices, and Ernst & Young, prior to founding AV CPA Professional Corporation.
